Staten Island Giving Circle Donates $500 to JCC Kosher Food Pantry
The Staten Island Giving Circle helps organizations that help others in need. This year they decided to focus on food pantries. Our Kosher Food Pantry received $500 in Shop Rite gift cards.
In 2017 alone the JCC Food pantry serviced over 1,500 adults, 1,700 children, 300 senior adults and 300 new families.
The Staten Island Giving Circle was founded by Evelyn Kormanik in January 2008 with a mission to build a volunteer community outreach organization committed to serving a wide range of populations in our own community in need of monetary or hands-on assistance.
